Beef Sausage

Yield 1 pound bulk "sausage"

This pork-free "sausage" comes together in minutes and is wonderful in all kinds of recipes.

Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar or maple syrup
• 1 teaspoon dried sage
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
• 1/4 teaspoon thyme
• Dash cayenne pepper

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Shape and use like regular sausage.
